Got some useful tips, handy hints or just a general advice for beginners or relatively new members which they could find helpful?
Here's the place to post them. |
Couple of tips from me:
(1.)
Make sure your password is not too simple soas third person cannot get access to your account by guessing it. Note that there already were issues in the past concerning lost accounts due to being hacked in and even stolen.
Also, I would warn everybody not to share their password with other members. The reason is some older accounts were stolen in such way and are now being abused by "hackers". No worries, those are not people with real hacking abilities, they're just counting on somebody to be naive and trustful enough to give out the password which they will afterward either abuse to grant them access to even more accounts by pretending to be you, or change it and steal the account.
For that reason, don't ever share your passes, not even to the people you trust the most. If "hacker" manages to steal an account and starts using it for his own purposes while he knows the behavior of real owner well enough, you can hardly tell you're not really talking to that person.
In case you already have an account but would like to change your password, you can do it in another game created by X-Gen Studios and hosted on their MMOcha multiplayer servers, titled Stick Arena Ballistick. You need to log in with the same account which you're also using in Brotherhood of Battle, go to the Ballistick Shop section and manage your account from there. The only problem is that it seems they have locked account managing options to regular users and a lab pass is now required to grant you access, which needs to be purchased for real money (monthly lab pass would be the cheapest option and is available at 5.95 USD).
(2.)
When you are in the game lobby, chatting with other members and forming good relations or even friendships, have in mind that it is intended as a meeting place for entire active Brotherhood of Battle community and is thus desired that each member behaves with manners, as in real life society.
Have in mind that real people are behind the nicknames and those people will either like or dislike you based on the actions you make. Respect others, and they will respect you.
